A Message From Our Elders |
The primary goal of the eldership here at Cordova is the spiritual health of our members. Our desire is that each and everyone of us have a strong personal relationship with God and close connection with the members of our church family.
With that in mind, we feel that it is vital that all of us participate in worship, Bible Study opportunities and spiritual service. We are asking each member to participate in a minimum of three intentional spiritual connections per week.
Currently, there are over a dozen different options to choose from: Sunday morning worship, Bible classes, Sunday night classes and projects, M|Groups, Mops, CDS, Apples of Gold, SOS projects, etc. We feel that attendance at Sunday worship service should be a priority. For example, a member could select Worship, Sunday morning Bible Study and one of the 14 M|Groups as their three spiritual connections. If you would like to participate in more than three, we would encourage you to do so.
If you have any questions, please see one of the elders.
Jim Dixon, Chuck Donald, Grady Gettings, Jack Haynie, Bill Mara, Noel Shrum, and Dave Wittenborn
